Taiji is more than martial art
Taiji can be practised for fitness, self defence, or meditatively. Unlike many martial arts, there is no explicit regime. One chooses a discipline that suits one's needs.
About our training
Red Dragon Taiji holds weekly classes in Ruthin and Wrexham. Our training focuses on a discipline called the Simplified Yang Style British 24-step form. It is well suited to beginners, requires no equipment, and can be practised by all age groups in very limited space at home, or anywhere.
Some students in our class work with the sword and quarterstaff. We also participate in workshops and cross training with other groups.
